This is often at the back of my mind
Sometimes I look at the amount of administrative work I have to do daily, simply because I am working in a heavy process-bound company, and I remember this quote from an ex-colleague:
Sure enough, once he left the company and joined another, he excels.
I will not be seen as failed because of the failure of the company. It’s very true, you know. He may be a star salesman. But he can’t sell because of the beauracracy of the company. But if he continue to stay in this company, he will not be able to meet his quota, quarter after quarter. It’s not because he can’t sell. He’s bound by the red tape.
Sure enough, once he left the company and joined another, he excels.
